What a weekend! It started off with a fantastic breakfast on Saturday morning done by Christy Pablo Dayot, Clavel Suesette Baranda Dayot, and Rafael Dayot. It was a fantastic setting for Master Chuck Gauss and GM Bobby Taboada to get acquainted. Thank you to the Dayot family for their tremendous hospitality. The seminar at The Harmony Martial Arts Center turned out great. Great turnout, great energy, great vibes. Many thanks to Shihan Raymond Ata for allowing Terence Baranda Dayot and I to host the seminar at his school. I commend Master Chuck Gauss and GM Bobby for their tremendous teaching sessions and the energy they brought and showcasing the respective arts of Modern Arnis and Balintawak. Yesterday, GM Bobby taught a joint seminar in downtown Toronto with Guro Mantas Oliver Garduce, followed by a dinner afterwards. Terence and I had a great time there. Id like to thank Guro Oliver, his wife and Gary Francisco Formaran Garduce for their tremendous hospitality. Lastly, I would like to thank the attendees for Saturdays seminar for coming out to attend this fantastic event with an open mind and willingness to learn and sharing their energy. We had folks coming from Toronto, Peterborough, Detroit, Ottawa, Connecticut, and North Carolina! Unbelievable! Theres not a doubt in my mind that the late Professor Remy A. Presas would have been very happy to see this event take place.
