What a wonderful date night with my sweetie. We went to the Puyallup Pow Wow. It is such and honor to be welcomed into the group of veterans who march into the arena during the Grand Entry. More then ever I feel closer to the beating heart of our Father and Creator. It is an honor to feel what He feels for the His children the Natives of this land. As I hear the drums and songs being sung, the dancers in full regalia, it is hard to hold back the tears as His heart fills my heart and the meaning of empathy becomes reality.
