What a wonderful day clearish skies a warming breeze slightly - TopicsExpress

What a wonderful day clearish skies a warming breeze slightly southerly in direction this would be a gentle charabanc with all my other passengers being on CD’s as I listened to my favorite tunes. Yet alas alack forlorn are the plans of mice and men as every granny Sunday driver, every hay ladened tractor, every Caravan toting 4X4 and city dwelling bumpkin decided on mass to take the same route as myself the only difference was I knew where I was going they seemed to be devoid of direction. So as the miles tick Tocked like a watched clock and time flew like an Olympic sprinter my relaxing journey gave way to the grumpy old _ _ _k behind the wheel syndrome and as I drove into Gorey up the hill to the Bunclody road a sense of I will never reach my destination. Then out of the blue sky a small dark cloud rained for no more than 30 seconds and a beautiful rainbow arched across the horizon giving way to a to the I am exactly were I should be at this moment in time and as if the mystical fairies changed signpost the traffic turned hither and dither leaving me almost alone on the road. So shortly thereafter I arrived in Bunclody in one piece claim and hungry for good company and lunch driving up through the village towards the hotel and a car space was waiting for me very close to the entrance happy days. I walked in to find a wonderful bunch of gifted people chatting and part taking of the hotels fair we all greeted each other with big hugs and impish excitement of the time ahead. After eating and drinking my tea we started the proceedings with Minette sharing words from Lady Olivia and all present reading parts of the Fellowship of Isis Manifesto which something we all take for granted but really needs to be read over again then a couple of her beautifully crafted poems of fairies and mirth. Then on to my little talk on the Egyptian Resurrection ceremony Coming Forth by Day I handed out a few sheets I had printed and we discussed and questioned a few concepts. Then Máire handed out large basket full of interesting polished stones and eggs about the size of the palm of your hand she invite all to take one for yourself as a gift of the day, you could see the surprise in the faces of all (are you sure) if was most generous of her. We then had Cait tell us of sweat lodges and humorous things that took place as well as the deep concepts of nurturing and letting go but living in the now. Different little groups of three and four spoke of how they connected with the Goddess and Maureen was telling me of progress on the Magdalene museum . It was a truly wonderful day and I think we all took more away with us than we had anticipated the parting was to we will all meet at the next Clonegal on the 21st of Sept and then look at planning another “A Touch of Light” I will add a couple of pics of the day. Blessings to all and the Sun Shines in the Hearts of those who care.
