What a wonderful first week of homeschool for Celeste. She learned how to ride her bike, we went on a great hike and learned about invasive plants. She went to the driving range with Daddy. Lots of quality detoxing from school. So happy I dont have to deal with the stress and politics of having to opt-out of standardized testing. These tests are such a horrible thing for children with learning disabilities. One of the main reasons we pulled her was because of the stress and crying she was having over just thinking about them. The wasted hours, days and weeks used in schools for test prep is so sad. I know some of you with normal kids just cant understand what all the fuss is about. But it is a real crisis for us parents with kids who learn at a different pace then their peers. I wish everyone happiness and a stress free STAARS week!!!
