Andraé Crouch, a seven-time Grammy winner and gospel music legend, born July 1, 1942, died in a hospital in Northridge, Calif. 5 days after suffering a heart attack. He was an American gospel singer, songwriter, arranger, record producer and pastor. He was referred to as The Father of Modern Gospel Music by contemporary Christian and gospel music professionals. Andraé was known for his compositions Through It All, Soon and Very Soon, I Surrender Alland so many more! Andraé will be greatly missed but his beautiful music will live on through the ages!
