What a wonderful time to grow up in..I was born in 1965 so I remember all of this and more...it was simpler without all of the technology of today...even though our parents and grandparents said the same things, I feel that our world changed drastically and permanently starting in the 1990s, so much more than just things like changing from b/w to color tv or finally getting a FM station on a portable radio, getting airconditioning or microvaves...I miss the days that if person didnt answer their telephone it simply meant they werent home!...instead of are they mad at me or they dont like me anymore...not to mention the fact that I do not want to be found 24/7, ya know? I wanna go back and live life simpler again...even time seemed to go by a little slower! When dinnertime meant something and you had to tell your friends you would call them back because your family was eating... So here is the other half of my popsicle...sit back and reminisce with me... btw...whatever happened to popsicles with two sticks??
