What a wonderful way to begin the New Year ! Max had his check up at the vets office this morning. He has gained 3.5 pounds since surgery. He no longer has ribs poking out ! His surgery was a complete success and he is now discharged from their care. He now needs to go thru getting his vaccines since we know so little of his care prior to his attack.. He is also HW positive. I tried to get some understanding as far as his stage of heart worms but that would have required a consult and another cost, I will discuss with the vet when he goes for immunizations. I do not know where to begin saying Thank You to all the well wishes, prayers and contributions sent on Maxs behalf. He is a sweet, calm, loving little guy and I am sure if he could talk he would thank each and every one of you for saving his life.
