What a worm-hole we are in. Quick turn of events, spontaneous encounters and simultaneously this weekend we have our Winter Solstice, an annual opportunity to sow seeds of intention for what we want to establish in the forthcoming year. Being also the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere as well as the herald of Capricorn season the Winter Solstice in all due respect is a time we often confront inner-hopelessness. With this year’s solstice also occurring during the Uranus Pluto square the energy is also fluctuating wildly like a roller-coaster. One moment we may feel higher then ever before, the next, hurdling towards the ground. We need remember that these alternating notes of hope and hopelessness being experienced throughout the world and within us is actually the servant of our desire to practically establish our truest ambitions into reality. This is the time to establish ourselves now, not float away into fantasy. Establish ourselves, and not necessarily who we thought we were, or what society told us to be. Instead of focusing on the mad and chaotic outside-world lets collectively take a good look within. The benefit of the “roller-coaster” is that we have a clear and precise view of the full spectrum; Where we have been stuck before shows us how we can become free. This view is in itself liberating so stepping into freedom is what will ultimately follow one way or another, despite what appears on the surface. Change will happen with or without our consent, so we might as well let go of expectations and see where the wind takes us.
