What about Gog and Magog? Gog and Magog is NOT Russia and its perceived military allies as claimed within certain circles, and Armageddon is NOT a physical battle as assumed by most people. Gog and Magog is the ultimate marshalling of HaSatans hordes of forces consisting of those who are risen as part of the second resurrection, which occurs after the 7th (Sabbath) Millennium...who will attempt to march against the New Yahushalum that will have proceeded from the Shamayim (Heaven). Armageddon is an English translation of two compound Hebrew words:- Har and Moed. The first part Har means Mountain and the second part Moed refers to the Appointed Times for worship (See Lev 23). The battle of Armageddon is a battle that takes place in the conscience/mind of mankind, in making the choice between standing by faith upon the Mountain of the Appointed Times of YAHUAH as reckoned upon His Scriptural Calendar (See Gen 1:14, Ex 12:2) or standing with the beast in observing the worship days of the calendar of Rome as determined by the church.
