What about innocent until proven guilty? Well how can there be - TopicsExpress

What about innocent until proven guilty? Well how can there be any allegation of innocence if you are under suspicion? After all without the 4th amendment, innocence is only an allegation, and an allegation confirms the need for suspicion. So there is only a suspicion of innocence; not proof. Once the suspicion is confirmed then an accusation is made, but to be politically correct it is labeled allegation until such time that the suspect is convicted of the allegation then they stand accused. Accused of what? Well of being innocent or guilty but if you are accused then it is because you are guilty since accusation stems from conviction and thus there cannot be innocence since there is guilt. What was that about the 4th amendment? Oh that is contemptuously regarded as old view and is not the same as the now view. This, I think, would make George Orwell blanch.
