SIUSLAW BANK HOSTS 3rd ANNUAL GOOD WILL GRILL - A BBQ for the LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY What do the smell of hamburgers sizzling on a grill, donations by over 50 individuals and businesses and The Blue Valentines have in common? Good Will, of course! Siuslaw Bank is pleased to host their third “parking lot” BBQ to benefit the Eugene Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jeff Gusinow, the bank’s Senior Vice President, was diagnosed with a non-curable form of Lymphoma seven years ago. Mr. Gusinow, along with local Oncologist Dr. Jeff Sharman, worked towards establishing a local event for LLS, which have netted over $55,000 during the past two years. The BBQ will be hosted in the parking lot of Siuslaw Bank’s Country Club office, located at 260 Country Club Road on Friday September 13, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The BBQ costs $10.00 per plate. In addition to food and beverage, the BBQ features an eclectic, wide variety of silent auction and raffle items for $5.00 per ticket. Items include a variety of medical procedures including Lasik Eye Surgery and follow up treatment, colonoscopies, vasectomies, a week in Palm Springs, a “Dine & Drive” Mercedes Benz package, Burley Bike Trailer, catered UO Tailgate, $500 travel voucher on American Airlines, overnight hotel as well as casino certificates, car detailing and many other items. Exciting surprises include live music by the area band Blue Valentines and a guest appearance by “Duck,” the University of Oregon mascot. Advance lunch tickets can be obtained by stopping by the Country Club Office of Siuslaw Bank at 260 Country Club Road between 9AM and 5PM Monday through Friday.
