What am I grateful for today... I am grateful that my training appointment yesterday with James Goodlatte was 50 minutes talking and processing and only 10 minutes actual training/working out. Many of us would be upset that this is how it went, but I am grateful because what I needed was mental coaching to be able to find a way to embrace my physical coaching. Collectively we came up with a non-linear, 2nd order change that transformed my workout! Today I got up, worked out while watching Ted Talks with Dr. Brene Brown. I worked out, learned some amazing and beautiful things about shame, empathy, and courage as well as joy, authenticity, love and belonging. I often have not been able to find time to watch videos like these and have resisted working out because it has felt like a chore, just another have to on the daily list of things to do. Today and every day after I life has been transformed. I was able to feed my heart and soul and nurture my body in a way that designates with me.
