What am I missing? Why are liberals suddenly calling people like Bill Maher, Sam Harris, and Richard Dawkins Islamophobes for criticizing Islam? A) Theyve all been doing that for years. And B) Why werent these people finding the equally brutal criticism of Christianity and Judaism gross and racist? Im truly perplexed. For heavens sake, didnt PZ Myers actually desecrate a sanctified host (which Catholics views as the literal body of Jesus Christ)? Thats way beyond criticism. But I don’t remember liberals calling him a Cathophobe. At best, I remember a few finding it distasteful. Can someone clue me in here?
