What am I thankful for? Well, I have too much to possibly list. But, I can tell you that Im thankful I worked last night. Yes, while most were either sleeping off the over indulgence in turkey or waking early for the shopping deals I spent the night caring for a building full of animals at work. It was slow, as most overnight holidays are but I did receive one call to pick up a dog that is very old, slow and somehow was found aimlessly roaming the streets of Hazelwood in the freezing cold by a caring police officer. I am thankful that I was working and was able to pick up this poor dog and give him a warm bed to sleep on, a safe place to be and a full belly of food while he anxiously awaits his family to find him. I gotta tell you all... Its times like these that really make me enjoy my job! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and dont worry.... Ill get my over indulgence tonight with my family. ;)
