What an amazing day! Spent the day moving into our new home with the help of some awesome friends... Then of course, theres Western States.... For those that dont know, this was my first attempt at a hundred. I had no idea what I was doing, I had never run in the mountains and I was terrified. I had a crew of 14 people that believed I would finish this race... But at mile 78, as Alec and I were watching the sun rise, the horn went off and my day was over. My journey to Western States was life changing and gave me the courage to make some very positive life changes. I truly believe I wouldnt be the person I am today if it werent for this experience. I am so excited to be going back to finish what I started!! Thanks to everyone thats sent a message today, it means a lot to me! I am looking forward to sharing this with everyone!!
