What an amazing day. The Dirty Fingers show was so much fun, we had trouble stopping (and got in trouble for it!) I couldve played all night with that band. A huge thanks to my organ brother from another mother, Brian Charette for his musicianship and grace. And thank you to Fareed Haque for sitting in and putting on a clinic! Michael Dease, you were blowing some serious stuff on that trombone! Wow! Jordan Young sat in on drums and put the stank on that blues. Also Lawrence Barris and Ralph Tope, two of the baddest guitarists on the scene today, who sounded so good together. Thank you, gentlemen, for doing what you do so well. Thank you Mark Kieme for your soul and sense of humor, and tone, tone, TONE! And vibraphonist Jim Cooper who takes me to school every time he solos. What an amazing musician. Finally, thank you Sean Dobbins for making me sound better than I am and swingin like nobodys business.
