What an amazing end to our inagural Thebby Table Football World Cup! In the battle for third place, the Netherlands got off to a strong start against a sluggish Uruguay. But Uruguay were not to be denied, taking the game to the Dutch team, who were suffering from an early celebration. The Netherlands held on to take third spot 14 - 11. The final was a close, frenetic game. Honduras took an early lead, and looked like running away with the game, before Russia got into gear and clawed back into the game before half time. Russia got off to a strong start in the second half, scoring several quick goals, but Honduras was too strong, running out winners 13 - 8 at full time. Congratulations to Honduras for winning the tournament. And congratulations and thank you to all the players and staff who made the Thebby World Cup so awesome!
