What an amazing evening last night was - 3 wins and 1 draw for HB. 4 great entertaining fights that has set HB up perfectly for opening our new gym Monday. We can not put into words how pleased and proud we are of our 4 brave fighters performances. Congratulations guys you all did a fantastic job. First up was Chris Halls. After taking his fight with only one weeks notice the 36 year old was stepping into deep water but showed a tremendous amount of courage and just how brave he really is. Chis jumped on his opponent from round one. The fight was very even with both boxers landing their fair share of heavy blows. After 3 close exciting rounds the bout was announced a draw. Chris did a fantastic job and showed he is still able compete and look good with limited training. Well done Chris ! Next up was the tiny but defiantly more scary Emmalouise Bowen. Emma marched her way to the ring flexing her muscles with confidence oozing out of those abs. Emmas much larger and heavier opponent couldnt managed to deal with Emmas speed and timing as the 50kg weapon went on to win in style out boxing her girl throughout the fight. Emma put on a great display of skill by the way she was able move around the ring and stay away from her heavier opponents power boxing her way to a great victory. Well done Emma !! Bout number 3 for HB was 47 year old Steve Griffin. From round one Steve pounced on his more experienced opponent with several jabs followed by powerful straights wobbling his opponent in each round. The fight looked very close to being stopped due to Steves strength, power and aggression. It was clear from the beginning that Steve was far too good wining all 3 rounds convincingly. Steve went on to win by decision. Well done Steve. Last up was big ticket seller Liam Kinsella. Liam was not at any loss for confidence and support tonight as he had an entire mini bus follow him to the Troxy. With a really late start Liam didnt get on till 11:30pm resulting in his army of fans missing their ride home. Liams entrance was electric swamped with friends and family screaming his name. Liam went on to box really well keeping his opponent at range with straight punches. The man who fights for charity simply couldnt miss with that big right hand. Liam went on to win a unanimous decision after nearly knocking his opponent out in the last round. Well done Liam ! Zero losses last night from the HB Fight Team - we are so proud you all We would like to say a big thank you to all of the HB team who came and supported us. It was great to see so many representing and wherein HB tops. Let these 4 hear it guys they deserve it. Great job ! HB Team Be The Bet You Can Be
