What an amazing, humbling, uplifting, emotional, patriotic couple of days! My brother (553rd Air Recon Wing C-121 Connie Viet Nam 67-68) made it into town just in time to enjoy the welcome concert with Charlie Daniels and spent time chatting with Gunner from WIVK .Also ran into two of my favorite people, the boss, Mayor Madeline Rogero and Eddie Mannis who had just been surprised with an award at the MOH luncheon.(Greatly deserved) Today, we had the honor of attending the MOH forum at UT where Cliff met up with MOH recipient Doc Ballard who, as fellow MOH recipient Clinton Romesha put it eats grenades. Two amazing men who did a great job this morning. Finished up with the MOH book signing event where we got to spend precious minutes with living history. UN FOR GETABLE!!!! Kudos to the many who worked to bring the convention to K-Town and thank you to all our Medal of Honor recipients and ALL our veterans.
