What an amazing night of music, and great people, that Im so very honored to work with! First 2 Greg Cryns who pedaled his bike all the way from PB, cause his ride flaked, without his guitar, knowing he may not even get a chance to play, thats some work ethic, you just dont see much of anymore...good on ya man!. To Jeffrey Joe, for lending Greg his guitar, which he was able to do, because he got there so early and stayed for the entire show, as is a habit for him, a true troubadour and lover of music, thank you sir! The Amazing Rhythm Rose Turner who is always so supportive of everything i do, for bringing Papa Shawn Turner and the crew down, you KILLED on Bobby McGee 2nite, great set all the way through Love ya :):) To Sara Petite who even though she was sick, still came down and played & was awesome... as always...and not to mention she gave up her pay 2nite to give to a touring act to help em out a little on their tour, i thought that was really cool, and just a testament to the great people that make up the SD music scene, such a class act miss Petite! To Handmade Moments....just plain wow....blew my mind, definitely going to be following you all....as you make it big, as will many of whom witnessed the set you two laid down 2nite! Good Luck on the rest of your tour, South America is in for quite a treat! To Cantua, what more can i say...you guys got the house dancing, that is the first time ever at the showcase, great set! I appreciate the good energy you guys bring, and staying to play an extra 30 minutes, was pretty great of you considering you had another gig to get to. Bam..bol..e...o... I thought the Gypsy Kings were in the house! Thank you Pablo Cantua & Esteban Antonio Haro, gotta do it again soon! To everyone that came out thank you mucho, always a great crowd, & hope to see you there again soon! Last but not least the staff at the Vessel Restaurant, Ive worked a lot of places, and the level of service, the way you treat the artists i book, the way you make everyone feel at home is above and beyond what Ive ever expected, and a big reason why the night is successful...it takes a village ;) Well alrighty then off to master some recordings, stay classy SD!
