What an amazing time we are having here in Tuscany. The majority of Italians are so warm and welcoming and then you will have an occasional person behind the counter who is a little impatient. Even in those times, it is amazing how we will run into another warm Italian passing by or other Aussies or Americans who will lead us in the right direction. It is all part of the magnificent adventure! Our cleaner’s name is Viola and yesterday I slipped a note with my details under the door of the other apartment in the Villa to say goodbye to a beautiful mother and daughter who were on their way back to the USA. They unfortunately didn’t get it, but the cleaner did and read it. She was delighted because I do Reiki and through her very broken English we were able to talk from the heart. It was a lovely connection and I look forward to those conversations and me learning a little more Italian each week when she visits. Some photos of Siena xx
