What an amazing way to start my day and week! Filled with awe, wonder and at the same time serenity as I watch the Maha Kumbhabishegam at the Sri Senpaga Vinyagar Temple. The feeling of a divine and wonderfully benign power radiating out of and around the temple is palpable, so powerful that i cant help tearing. Strangely, although the Singapore sun glares down ferociously it feels cool here under our tent. There must be about 2000 ppl here at least, along with former President Nathan, Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong et al. We thought we arrived early (8.30am) for an invitation to be seated at 9am but others far more devoted and disciplined were an hour before us!
