What an amazing weekend.. This weekend was our Stake Priests & Laurels Mini Mission. It has been a blessing and a humbling experience in preparation with our Stake YM Presidency preparing for our future missionaries in our Youth to serve a mini mission and to help encourage them to serve our father in heaven in the future. On friday night they arrived to MTC @ our stake centre and were called/assigned into four Missions.. Samoa Mission - Patricia Hunt / Vanuatu Mission - Lia Schuster / New Zealand Mission - Suma Ahfua & Bro. Alejandro & Phillippines Mission - Josh Hilsala..Thanks to our returned missionaries for preparing those mission classes. Saturday we had workshops to help prepare for their missions - Financial Budgeting / Cooking/ Journal/ Finding & Tracting by A/Ps & F/T Missionaries / teaching by Zone Leaders then out finding and tracting with F/T missionaries at their assigned suburb areas for 5 hours. Thank you to the Hallam Ward Bishopric & RS for Dinner Friday night & Hampton Park RS sisters for dinner for the FT Missionaries/ Leaders last night. Also a huge thank you to the Billeting Families in our stake for taking in youth companions for the weekend providing /beds/food/picking & dropping off our youth back & forth to the chapel etc... We are truly grateful for you all for your love and sacrfice over the weekend and hospitality given to our youth. Im truly blessed being apart of their mini mission over the weekend. I thank the parents for raising their children in the gospel and to participate in all youth programs ( laurels & priests) such as this to share their testimonies and to go forth to and to serve the Lord, studying the scriptures and faith that they can do what ever the Lord desires them to do. I thank them for being such an inspiration to my life, I wished we had these mini mission programs when i was in youth many years ago.. I wish I served my f/t misson. I hope to go forth to serve after my girls have gone out to serve in the near future. I love the Youth Program. Such a blessing having to serve in the Youth program, it has made me a stronger person.. They are our future missionaries and i know they will go forth and serve thee and to bring the world the truth of the gospel and of our savior. Their testimonies shared today brought so much joy and love in my heart, i cried so much i nearly finished the box of tissues, the spirit felt the whole weekend has brough me closer to my laurels and to my savior.....Their heart felt experience shared as they went out finding and teaching with assigned full-time missionaries yesterday afternoon for 5hours, it was only a glimpse experience out serving for a short time, as they shared the gospel to others, had a few rejections, shared testimonies, gave out book of mormons with their written testimonies in it, taught a few investigators. They all have potential and the desire to serve one day, so proud of them. I was so happy my baby brother Jesse Fereti Kelsall was able to experience. This is his first time mini mission. love you bro you will make a great missionary. We also had a non-member participate Paitai Turu, and shared his spiritual experience and will soon be baptized. we love you.. Thank you also to YWs/YMs Stake Presidency and our Stake Presidency for their love and support.. Cant stop crying just so overwhelmed with the spirit and love felt these couple of days..I love the Lord and the blessings he has for me and my little family.. Love You my Young Womens...Have a lovely sabbath... Love Sis Kelsall
