What an awesome way to spend a public holiday, yesterday. The Nutters lead a substantial group out on Pink. Pretty cool being babysat by two little legends in the making, Joshua Nelson & Reinhard Zellhuber until Ride Hard broke his back derailuer and was pushed home by Kiddo, then another derailleur implosion by one of our, most welcome, Gauteng visitors, who was then rescued by an ailing Trail Master....ahem! Had the Boss Man (who was seen afterwards sporting a rather spiffy new tee) accompany us, joined by his whipper snapper, who was put to work when he got back, by Dad! Great work ethic being instilled there, well done Luke. We rode so hard (hahahahaha) that young Cam Keller made room for breakfast, better get shopping Sir PIB......... We had the mountain goat aka Timothy John Inman-Bamber showing how experience can help you climb, and then unleashed the Spirit of Santa by filling the gift table, all for a great cause. I believe a fantastic proposal was put forth by Tougher Than Teak Dagmar that the gift box be kept for another couple of days to allow those that the weather chased away, the opportunity to pop something in, prior to it being handed to Osisweni Primary School (probably spelt that wrong, but its the school that Holla so fantastically support. Im assuming Cameron Service can confirm, or deny, this story. After all, we all know how much he loves social media. It was good to see how badly Dags broke Reghard Roets, the evidence below...........he couldnt even hold his own camera for his selfie, and she made him go all cross eyed.........better start training Boet, not long until The Epic!!! As for The Nutters representation, we had a rather subdued Shrek aka Carolyn Ten-Bokum, but its always great to have her out on the trails, even if she did teach the young bucks some floral phrases...... Terry LLoyd Keller was just showing off for his son, whos up from Knysna. Uncle Baz, brought his bro, from Gauteng, for a trundle, and then forgot him in the car park, the reason for that only being clarified when him & Chezza dropped off the back, and were only seen at the car park a little later than the rest of us............ My highlight of the day was chatting to some of our Gauteng guests afterwards who raved about our facilities, that we have on our door step. We should all take the time to chat to our guests, itll always leave you proud of our back garden. So to all of those who made yesterday an awesome day, I doff my cyber cap to you, one and all. Basil Peter Hoffman Cheryl Lee Ann Hoffman Duncan Reid Thank you!
