What an emotional day... (#1) Happy 8.5 year old Birthday to my daughter Ally!!! Although, many might not understand why a half bday and 8.5 year old birthday is such a HUGE deal... you need to spend some time with Ally who continues to beat the odds daily of a life expectancy of less than 1-2 years with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1. She teaches us all about love, courage, faith, family...friendship..... (#2) Has to do with friendship/family. In some of these pics is Allys nurse Tina Chiang and our whole familys friend. After 11 months of doing an EXTRAORDINARY job caring for Ally, today is her last day. She will be starting a new adventure in Kansas but will always be remembered and remain our friend/family. Check out another one of her nail designs and all the INCREDIBLE gifts she got Ally to say goodbye..... Tears will be rolling for a long, long time!
