Rush to VSG to have microchip scanned while Im howling but not certain. No chip. Feck, what to do, is it her or not?! Leave kitty there and decide to keep looking, have 5 days to confirm before need to cremate. Dont think it is but doubt my own memory. Decide to knock on distant neighbours door who also have black cat - yep, its missing. Take neighbour (Chris - who Ive never met) to VSG to identify kitty. It is theirs. Poor Chris is hysterical. Im crying (Piper lost, Jeannie a frequent visitor to VSG and poor Chris). Off home now. Going to hold everyone close xx
