What an enjoyable afternoon I got to spend with a great little cowgirl...Royal and I gathered and moved our cows over a couple of pastures after school. I had her riding drag for some of it while I gathered to her, a few hundred yards from the 1st gate I look down from the hill side I was gathering to see her on a mission at a long trot. I watch to see what is going to unfold, turns out she saw I was still gathering and thought she needed to count them through the gate :) So I asked how many she counted....well Mom I got to 15 and then one got out of line and I had to quit counting. So on we went a little further, and I am now riding drag while she gathers to me...she gets everything gathered and is sitting on a hill watching me and my dog work the back. By now we are a couple miles into the trail and I have a handful of cows who are now insistent on fighting with my dog. Royal sees this and on a trot she comes down off the hill, Mom do you need some help getting these cows going? Well yes Royal that would be great if you would help me :) Like I said it was a great day with a great little Cowgirl :)
