What an excellent piece of writing from a man who has had his share of abuse.....it is balanced, well thought out and gives context...which is very much needed in this case. When you take someones upbringing, circumstances and background into account, it does add perspective. I dont support what he did but you have to ask why and this article goes very close. Life certainly is not to be feared but understood....
