What an experience!!! ... cultural experience - GOD is Sleeping! this morning Sunil asked me if I want to go to MANDIR - thought why not, Basanta and Aba took some good time to be ready... then we headed towards the MANGLE MANDIR... at the MANDIR, we could not find the GOD but some people doing YOGA.. then Sunil asked a person Where is the God? ... he suggests us to go down stair... we went down stair and all we see is a baby shower party of an Indian Family, is going on... again, Sunil asked a person - Where is the GOD? - they pointed upstair... we went upstair again... WE COULD NOT FIND THE GOD... then Sunil asked a person - WHERE IS THE GOD - THE PERSON LOOKS AT US AND repplied- GOD IS SLEEPING! WE ALL JUST LOOKED AT EACH OTHER DROPPING OUR CHINS... -WHAT??? THE PERSON REPLIED POLITELY WITH SMILES ON HIS FACE, GOD GOES TO SLEEP FROM 12.00 NOON TO 4.30 IN THE AFTERNOON... THE MANDIR IS CLOSED THATS WHY (pointing out toward the chain-locked door) the DOOR is closed... We thanked him saying will come back when the GOD is awake. ...
