What an incredible day! Im finding myself in awe of what my God has done for me. In January, I started out on a journey to find an internship. I was turned down numerous times because of my past. I was discouraged, overwhelmed, and just plain ol frustrated. I was given a second chance by the life improvement counseling center. They opened their business and their hearts to me. Today they treated me to lunch, gave me an unexpected and gracious bonus, an awesome inspirational bracelet, and an amazing opportunity to stay on board and help facilitate substance abuse groups. It just goes to show that hard work, persistence, and doing the right thing does pay off! My God has placed some fantastic people on my team. If youre struggling, dont give up five minutes before the miracle happens!
