What an incredible day it was yesterday! I had the opportunity to spend a little time with my son that lives on a mountaintop in Buckingham County. He came down to visit for a few days which were great. Its rare to get him off his mountain out in the country and if you have ever seen that part of Virginia and how peaceful it is you cant blame him one bit. We took our Phantom quadcopters out for a little work out at Messick Point here in Poquoson. It was a beautiful day but the wind was something fierce and definitely not what I would normally fly in. But my son is a daredevil and talk me into flying in sustained winds of 20+ miles per hour and wind guest twice that. I put together a little video from both drones and my extra camera attached to my hat just for fun. Im sure that some of my friends will find the video a tad bit boring and since neither one of us were using stabilizing gimbals on the cameras the video to be a tad bit shaky. But on the other hand the music will make up for it. My son Jason headed back to his mountain yesterday afternoon and I started missing him even before he got his truck out of the driveway. Nothing in life gets any better spending a little time with your son.
