What an incredible last week or so. Wedding, then some fun time with Brook, then Crystal Mason being baptized, then being asked to speak at a mens conference next month....It just keeps getting better. Polishing the Pulpit is in just two weeks from Friday and I am getting stoked about that as well. Lots of folks have asked me what PTP is. It is over 300 classes/seminars/learning sessions for preachers, elders, deacons, and every church member! Some of the classes are designed to help with church growth, marriage relationships, community involvement, technology in the church, and just a lot of spiritual renewal happening with over 3,000 like minded saints meeting together in song, praise, worship, prayer, and edification. This is in Sevierville. There is still time to sign up. My dad Eldie Ferrell, Drew Milligan, and I have a 3 bedroom suite nearby from Friday night (8/22) through Tuesday morning. We have room for at least 2 more men to stay. The shared cost would be $150 per person for the room. It has a kitchen as well, so we may cook some meals together. If you are interested in sharing some expenses to stay, let me know. The conference goes through Thursday, but we are only staying through mid-Tuesday.
