What an incredibly busy day at Hidden Creek! We started with a new arrival, the elegant and beautiful Miss Casey, our newest boarder. Welcome Casey, and your lovely family; we hope you will be very happy here. Todays Show Team participants; Rebecca, Natalie, Sheridan and Bonnie, with Miss Kerry as demonstration rider, learned A LOT about gaits. Like anything with horses, there is a lot more to it than you might think; the more you learn, the more you realize you dont know..... Many thanks to todays army of volunteers, Rebecca, Tracy, Sheridan, Bonnie; we appreciate your help. Thanks also, as always, to Bill and Kerry for being my essential support system. This afternoons lesson, Haley and Teddy, and Bella and Sophie, did flatwork with a fun twist, no stirrups, one handed riding, hands on heads, etc., and finished with some two-point. On closing up the facility this evening, I was pleased to see all the lesson tack neatly put up, all the saddle covers on, bridles and boots hung and everything in its place. Thank you riders and volunteers, for taking care of our equipment. And yes, I really do notice EVERYTHING ;-)
