What an interesting day. I got up a little earlier than usual which I dont really like doing. I got to talk to my dad on the phone for a few minutes which I love doing. When I decided to go somewhere after lunch, I realized my car was still on from last night and I had not turned it off. I put the car in neutral and started to push it out of the driveway and--very scary!!--it rolled down my driveway and over the curb into part of my neighbors yard. I thank God no one was home or in the yard where the car stopped. I knocked on my neighbors door to see if he could help me jumpstart the car, but he wasnt there. I knocked on another door and finally met a new neighbor, oddly named Sandy (odd since I just saw Grease last night and Sandy is the female lead, of course), who pulled her car alongside mine and helped get my car running again. Shes a lifesaver and Im so glad to have met her. She said shes not the kind of person who gets really chummy with the neighbors and Im not either, so I didnt feel so bad that I hadnt met her yet and Ive lived in my house for almost four years. Everyone kind of keeps to themselves around here or theyre just not home at all. Im glad she was home and was there to lend a hand. I didnt get a chance to offer to help her in the future if needed, but I would be more than glad to do that if the opportunity arises. I just got back from El Paso where I spent a little more than I wanted to on an old Three Stooges photo at the antique mall there. I love the Three Stooges!! And I finally got to have my first taste of Uncle Bobs Ice Cream for the season on the way home through Eureka. I looooove their Butter Pecan and Butter Brickle Ice Cream. I had Butter Pecan today.
