What an interesting day this has been. I started my day like normal... Get up make a pot of coffee and then let my doggies out in the backyard. I then mix my front porch kitties their food. Usually my kittens who are now about 5 months old are crying and waiting for me at the front door. Not this morning.... I open the door and no kitties. I set their bowl of food down and I go looking for them. All of a sudden I see Homey in my neighbors driveway and he seems to be acting kind of odd??? I also notice Howie is just a few feet away from Homey and he to is noticing Homeys odd behavior. Well as soon as I call out to them they both come running back to me. First Howie runs up to me and then next Homie who proceeds to drop a dead mouse that he has just hunted all on his own at my feet..... I am so proud!!!! My kitty boys are growing up :) Homie played and played with the poor dead creature and then carried it up on to the porch where he ate it whole in four bites....Nothing left, not even a drop of blood or anything. I guess some people would have been grossed out by this...... Not me!!!! I was worried that I was spoiling them and that they would not have the right tools to survive. My kitties are going to be just fine!!! They do have a date next week with the Dr. though..... A little fix job, shots and flea bath for both and then they come home to be indoor/outdoor kitties and be part of our family of two dogs and a bird, Lenny and me. Ahhhhhhhh I love my life :) Hope you all have a great day xoxoxoxoxoxo
