What an interesting, energetic and FUN day on Park Avenue! I think its the weather . . . . everyone -- okay, MOST everyone -- is in such a LUVly mood! Im at Downeast of Winter Park and theres an older couple taking pictures with Downeast Bear. I chide them about becoming his friend on facebook, warning her that he can be a big flirt, not to turn her back on him or she might get a pinch. She talks and I hear an accent. I inquire where theyre from and she says Long Island. I hear something else in there, I said, and she says shes originally from Scotland. They remark about how LUVly Winter Park is, how much theyve enjoyed the The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. I recommend walking around Rollins College, taking the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour, the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, the Albin Polasek Museum And Sculpture Gardens, Casa Feliz and she asks how much homes are here. I start to tell her, and decide its better to take her down to visit with my favorite Local Scottish Realtor, Pamela Stewart. So, we walk down to The Winter Park Land Company and talk there for thirty or so minutes, as Rosemary, Jerry and Pam talked Scotland and we encouraged them to relocate to Winter Park, which he was all ready to do! She worried about being away from the grandkids, but I assured her they would want to visit them AND Mickey Mouse frequently! They asked Pam if Im the towns Mayor . . . . which Im not, EXCEPT for several locations on Foursquare! ;-) Theyre off to The Villages tomorrow, but we convinced them to come back to Winter Park for Sunday and Monday to see more sights! :-) Just a glimpse of my LUVly day on Park Avenue! I LUV Park Avenue!
