What an interesting evening as we left the ball game. Stopped by and grabbed a sandwich and the lady ahead of us said that God was tugging at her heart to pay it forward, so she paid for our meal. What an awesome gesture! Ive done this several times, but its never been reciprocated. Then were off...headed to Hawkinsville on 341 and at the crossing of Buck Creek and Elko Road sits a pick up with his flashers on. Well, the BIG GUY upstairs started tugging at my heart and ......theres a turn around....and....I turn around and pull up behind him in waist deep grass and ask if he needs help. He says if I could just shine my lights he can change his tire. How he was able to get to the spare before we got there in the dark is beyond me. Then after 20 minutes go by he can not change the tire because he has the wrong size jack and it wont go up high enough. I call Tom in Indiana and get DTs number and he answers and says Ill be right there. What a blessing to hear. I wait with him until DT can come. No one else offered, no one else stopped, and they barely slowed down. Im telling you now, if God wasnt in on all of this Ill kiss yo grits! He knew after having our pay it forward blessing from a stranger in Perry, that Id take that next turn around and go back...and I wasnt even scared. The gentleman works at Aarons in Perry. His name is Curtis. Im glad I was able to get him some help, and Im glad DT came.... Hope I can pay it forward again....keep working on me Lord, you know Ive had my druthers lately. GOD IS 4 REAL!
