What an outstanding day we had, yesterday, at the Farmers Market! It was chilly, windy andyet filled with sooo much happiness and joy! We started off being treated by one of our most favorite people in the whole world- John! He brought us yummy coffees and, more importantly, we started our day with hugs, smiles and handshakes. He then took off to do a walk for St. Judes. A super sweet and intelligent man with a heart filled with love for others- thank you for making the world a happier place and sharing your joy with us. Let us know what you might need for your holiday party, and we will make it happen! So many of our clients are awesomely involved with helping others. One of the reasons that Adam and I love what we do, so very much, is because we do it for the very best people out there! We got to visit with clients we have known and laughed with and with clients who are new to the Sweet Enchantments Bakery family yesterday and had a terrific time! Elizabeth and Sean- I hope that the pumpkin bread was SHARED (big grin), the cinnamon rolls were perfect and that your Thanksgiving is filled with joy.. and maybe NOT constant, enthusiastic verbal greetings from a dog? Maybe if I get the treats more healthily doggy friendly and done in time, you can have something to bribe it? That might make your furballs happy, too! hmmm... Let us know soonest, what-if anything- you will need, okay? Jack-as always, we loved seeing you! Thanks for the books, they will be hugely helpful in getting my most wonderful hubby the care that he needs and deserves. We are really glad that the Pumpkin Pecan Streusel coffeecake was enjoyed at home. Twisting it was fun and it turned out just as yummy as the traditional version! It is already hugely popular. We have had 6 orders for it, for Thanksgiving, come in since yesterday afternoon. Thank you all! Here is a shout out to our friend over at Sweet Temptations Dessert Cafe and Bakery! We are so very glad that Dennis, at the Country Butcher Shop & Deli, pointed you in our direction! It was wonderful to talk a bit of Special Education shop with you and we will have all ready and waiting for you, on Wednesday. We will have company under the Pavilion, this Wednesday, that might be of interest to some of you! Max the Knife will be there, with his most amazing knife sharpening abilities! He can sharpen axes, machetes, scissors, and knives and.. well, I dunno everything else he can sharpen, but I would imagine that if it has an edge, he can make it sharp! Bring along that favorite carving knife when you come by to pick up your orders! Ham or turkey, roast beast or fish-carving will be much easier-and prettier- if you do it with a well sharpened blade! Max is a sweetie and very good at what he does! Ill check around to see if he has a fb or a website that lists his prices- if so, Ill put it up for you all. Remember- our complete menu is available for holiday ordering, so dont feel as though you are restricted to seasonal specialties.
