"What are friends and do we really have them? You have over a million friends on Facebook but, do they really know you? Will they be there when you are crying at night? Will they be there when your car stops working? Will they be there when you do not have a place to lay your head? Will they be there when everyone else has turned their back? If the answer is no to all these questions then they are not your friend. A friend does not turn their back after twenty-years of friendship. A friend holds your hand during the good times and bad times. A friend does not finally get a man and then forget that you ever existed. A friend does not sleep with your spouse and think that everything is going to be ok. A friend can handle the truth especially when it hurts. If you cannot handle the truth then look at yourself. A friend does not talk about you behind your back and smile in your face. A friend does not take your personal business and spread it around town. A friend does not lie on you just to save their own self. A friend does not take advantage of your kindness and think that you are weak. A friend is a person that you do not talk to everyday but; they will be there if you ever need them. Everyone is not your friend but, you will know a true friend once they come along.
