What are the chances of guessing a number of a sealed currency note? The Indian ones have one number followed by two alphabets of English followed by six digits. So, it must be 1/10 x1/27 x 1/27 x1/10x1/10x1/10x1/10x1/10x1/10 right? I have been throwing around the challenge to read the number of a sealed currency note to any one who claims supernatural powers or ESP or any other prophecy. If I had thrown only one question- a challenge to those who can predict the number of votes that Narendra Modi at Varanasi within an error margin of 5% I would have lost my 10 lakhs because, three have predicted within that. Same about Sonia Gandhi, Janardhan poojari and Kejrival too. In fact the one who got 8 out of 20 right did so for four of the questions about number of votes within the error margins specified. Two more have got the number of votes right for Narenda Modi that too one within a margin of thousand votes!
