What are we Doing ?? ~ We are living in difficult times, but then again it has always been that way. If You walk about within a crowd of College Students, and it could be from those of Rutgers, or Stanford, and any Ivy League University, as well as other top Institutions, You would probably wonder if these very astute individuals would agree , or attest to that fact, or even be able to tell you what is going on around the world, and most have NOT a clue. They do know who is who in the Hollywood view, or who is Hoppin on the Music Scene, or of the Newest Innovations from Apple. ~ Truth I am not blaming anyone but Ourselves as a Nation of People and Teachers and Parents of the Total disconnect from Reality. Has anyone walked down the street and counted how many people they see with their faces in a phone ? Or walking along with earphones on and doing the very same ? Would You say they are aware as to what is going on around them ?? Also how many do you see with a phone to their ears while driving or, peeking down to text, even where it is considered illegal ?? I once had a Student in my class, who seemed to have a hissy fit when their phone went off and they could not answer it, and they looked as if they were going to cry when I told them NO PHONES in the Dojo training area ~ In You bag or locker AND OFF ~ I am asking All of You out there as Parents, and Teachers Lets start teaching these ( Binky Babies ) Safety Awareness within their Travels on the Streets and In their Vehicles. Save the Phone and Texts and games for a safer, and more secure area and time of use ~ There seems to be a lot of people out there that have so much empty time on their hands that they call everyone they know. Ever grabbed for a phone while you are driving ?? With All these bad happenings and warning of immanent danger from Terror Factions from the Middle East as in ISIS / ISIL I would say more attention and awareness needs to be implemented and put forth within Our daily activities Teach them , and talk about the dos and donts for Family Protection and Safety. ~ Not something to shrug off ~ A Very Soft Target Right ??
