What are you looking forward to the MOST about Ramadan? Well, this is tough as EVERYTHING about Ramadan is so awesome that we look forward to it Subhaanallah! But one thing that I can’t wait for is my regular and blissful trips to the Masjid for Taraaweeh and Qiyam ul-layl. The beauty of just taking those few steps towards the mosque is overwhelming and emotional. The inner sukooon and contentment that you get when you stand shoulder to shoulder, raising hands and asking ONE lord who fed, clothed and blessed each one in that gathering is DIVINE. And when the Imaam begins his lovely recitation, you can’t help but cry at every verse, that is literally hitting hard and straight to the hearts. Allahuakbar!
