What are your thoughts? What happened to Democracy? Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms says we all have The Right To our Voice by using peaceful Demonstration My Stance is towards the City of Chilliwack bylaw. If the signs on the Museum grounds are against the bylaw then what about the political signs on municiple property that has been a distraction for those driving, especially around the Round-A-Bouts. Each candidate is publicly doing their own demonstration and if it s not demonstrating its definitely advertising. And these are people running for the city. What type of example is that? I DID NOT put up political advertising signs because even though I have a fundraising back ground, I did not want to fundraise for signs for myself knowing full well we have Homeless on the streets not eating and our Salvation Army Food bank has only 1 week left for families that are in need of food hampers. Over 3100 mouths were fed lunch LAST MONTH alone and 540 food hampers given out ( 100 more then last year at this time ) in our very own City!!!! Someone needs to reevaluate their priorities!!
