What astonishes me is not that some people in Gaza are terrorists (shock horror, you could say this about anywhere) but that any arent. if this was our only experience of life, how many of us would grow up wanting to fight back? No, it doesnt solve anything, but I have the luxury of a comfortable London upbringing on which to lean whilst I say that. Had I been born into a place where my main experience of life was of some other bunch of people trying to kill me on a daily basis I suspect I might feel that the only alternative is to kill them first.
