This is a great no-cook recipe. Prep time: 10 minutes 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup butter, softened 4 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Walnuts or Pecans (optional) Put cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, cocoa and vanilla extract in a One gallon heavy-duty zip top plastic bag. Squeeze all air out of bag, then seal. Knead the bag until the fudge pulls away from the bag. Remove from bag and spread on platter or pie plate. Garnish with nuts, If desired. Cut into squares. Yield 24 1 inch squares. Divinty from Seasoned with Sun Cookbook 3 cups Sugar 1 cup water 3/4 cup light corn syrup 2 egg whites, beaten 1 cup nuts 1 teaspoon vanilla Boil sugar, water and syrup until it threads. Pour 1/3 of the mixture over beaten egg whites. Beat well. Cook remainder to a cracking stage. Add slowly to first mixture and beat until creamy. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into well-buttered 8 or 9 inch square pan and cute into squares. Yields 16 squares. Enjoy! If you make them, please share with us your pictures!
