What can I say? Last night was beyond amazing. I really believe we surpassed everybodys expectations and even ours. The atmosphere was electrifying, the guests were elated, the chefs were excited and moat of all the food was succulent. Last nights Pork Fest was a stamp on what we have been trying to accomplish here in Haiti for years. It is a testament to what our country can do, what our culture has to offer in terms of flavors, colors and entertainment. I want to first and foremost thank the entire crew of Gout et Saveurs Lakay Haiti Johanne Buteau, Jean-Max Chauvet, and Stephan Berrouet Durand for inviting me again. I want to thank the La Reserve family for welcoming me and taking care of me during those couple of weeks Tony Desmornes, Jean-Paul Guillobel and the owners. I want to thank the Chefs, my brothers without whom last night wouldve been a bust: Chef Lucmann Pierre, ChefNatacha Gomez, Tanya Lemaire, Dimitri Lilavois, Patrick Thezan, Paul Yellin, and Jouvens Jean. You guys rock and I am proud to know you and to have worked with you. Thank you to the guests for showing up and experience the Fest with us. Your support is truly appreciated and we were humbled by your presence. The Haitian Culinary Revolution has started. Its time to show what we are about.
