What can a healthy young red wolf do to help perpetuate his critically endangered species? Fly to Florida to find a romantic partner, of course! On December 7th, 2013, M1804, a three and a half year-old red wolf born at the Wolf Conservation Center, was flown to St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge, a remote barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico where he met his new mate. We thank the Red Wolf Recovery Program for sharing a glimpse of M1804, now living his wild destiny on the Refuge. :)
