What can be done for waste? We dump all the materials which we want to dispose into the garbage including food waste, garden waste, packaging waste and all unwanted materials, which cannot be recycled or recovered. Unfortunately the rag-picker selects from the garbage materials which can be easily recycled.. In addition, stray animals and crows further spread the garbage and the food waste resulting in unpleasant smell and mosquito nuisance. In advanced countries, in addition to segregating at home and industries, even offices have suitable collection bins to segregate the stationery waste.
