What could be the most difficult thing for a hairdresser to go - TopicsExpress

What could be the most difficult thing for a hairdresser to go through? Losing their own hair is pretty high up there. Yep, thanks to a diet change we did for awhile and high levels of stress, Ive lost gobs of hair. I have long hair - it goes down to my bra line - and it hasnt been very noticeable to those around me that its thinned out a lot unless I draw attention to it, but its been very hard to deal with. For one thing, in doing hair styling over the years Ive really discovered that thickness effects the hairstyle much more than length - long thin hair done in a crown braid will be nice on one side of the head and thin on the other side whereas thick shoulder length hair can be braided up and it looks amazing. Youre supposed to lose lots of hair each day but that natural loss isnt that noticeable whereas each time I brush my hand through my hair theres hair that comes out and lets not even talk about how much comes out when I wash it. Thanks to some great friends Ive been given some specialized hair products that are supposed to help and Ive started taking Biotin supplements each day to help so hopefully it will start to look better soon. I contemplated cutting my hair and mentioned this on facebook and was surprised how many people jump at it saying its just hair, itll grow back. For me, its not just hair my hair is a big part of my confidence and to be honest I dont know how to do short hair. Plus it can take a good long time for hair to grow back sometimes. A good friend of mine suggested that the stress of figuring out how to do my hair if it was very short would probably make me lose even more hair. LOL Ive had this scene from Simpsons come in my head a lot the last few weeks. So anyone else who has ever had hair loss, I empathize. https://youtube/watch?v=v0mG5c61bXY
