What could have been a tragic day was a blessing. Jacob went to warm up Dewaynes car as usual. This time the emergency break was not on (or something like that). Needless to say the car started going towards the house. Jacob jumped out of the car and started screaming for us. As we got outside the car had crashed through our front windows and into our living room. Dewayne wrapped his arms around Jacob and just held Him reassuring all was ok. He was frantic. Yes lots of damage but no one hurt. Amazing people stopped everything they were doing to help us. My brother came right over and called the police. Justin Brown was at our house in 5 seconds to help out and grab a kid. Doug Long was late to his job to get a new window ordered and seal up the hole. Ashley Simmons Beeler came by and reassured us all was going to be good ! Spencer went to school and the rest stayed home to help. We actually laughed how this was the third time Jacob has broken this window. First with a baseball, then a basketball, and now a car ! Amazed by how much we are loved. Everyone who called and texted was willing to drop everything to help us. Its just stuff a and we are all safe ! Blessed by God for sure ! Dewayne Ervin
